The Usual - 'Born in a Storm' music video
This music video was made in the late 90's when I was living in Cape Town, South Africa. So long ago, that I can't recall all the details! The sea shore scenes where shot up the coast past Gordons Bay, and no surprises, it was a chilly and windy day. I remember there being a troop of baboons in a ravine, near where we'd set up, who where completely untintimidated by our presence. In fact, it was quite scary realising that they would only take heed of the males in our crew who were trying to chase them away. My female voice was a useless defence. The 'trolley' shots where taken near Bo Kaap on one of those steep side hills. The lead singer, James Stewart, was an awesome guy. I wonder where in the world he is now?
